Is Chef Drago free?
Yes. Chef Drago is free to download, and finding, picking and cooking recipes is free. An optional subscription called Star Chef unlocks extra weekly meal plans; your first weekly plan is free.
How does Chef Drago help me decide what to cook?
You swipe recipe cards (right for yum, left for nope). When two recipes are on your shortlist, they face off in a duel and you tap the one you would rather eat. Then the app walks you through it step by step.
Can I cook with the ingredients I already have?
Yes. Tell the app which ingredients are in your fridge and each recipe card shows how many of them it uses, with what you have and what you are missing.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Chef Drago is available on iPhone (iOS 18 or later).
Which languages does Chef Drago support?
English and French. Recipes, steps and Drago’s lines are translated in both.
Does Chef Drago handle allergies and diets?
You can set dietary preferences, allergies and foods you dislike, and the deck filters recipes accordingly. Always check ingredient labels for allergens: the app is a cooking helper, not medical advice.
